# Scripture by meaning.<br>Audio to the word.

Ask for a feeling, a few words or a reference, typed or spoken, and get back passages of two to six verses, each with a line saying where it sits and who is speaking. Send a recording, with or without its text, and get the time of every verse and word.

## A few words to your first passage

Create a free test key in the [developer console](https://play.fellowverse.app/developers), then call the API from your server.

## How the audio works

## For agents and assistants

Give your assistant or voice agent a [tool that returns the exact words](/concepts/agents), so it quotes scripture instead of recalling it. Your coding assistant can read these docs through [llms-full.txt](/llms-full.txt) or this site's MCP server.

One bearer key per request. JSON over HTTPS. Use the same requests with test and live keys. Keep your key in your backend, including when you build for iOS, Android or the web.
