# Limits and test allowances

Per key, per minute: 120 searches, 60 voice searches, 30 uploads and 30 alignments. A `429` says which limit was reached.

Test keys: per key, per minute, 10 searches, 5 voice searches, 5 uploads and 2 alignments; and per account, per UTC day, 500 searches, 10 minutes of voice search and 2 alignments of up to 10 minutes each. The `429` for a daily allowance says when it resets.

## File and text limits

Uploads and clips are kept for **7 days for live keys** or **1 day for test keys**, long enough to align them and fetch the clips. Clips are kept from when the job finishes, and job results stay. Voice-search audio is not kept.
