Authentication and keys
Send your key in the Authorization header:
Authorization: Bearer fv_live_...
A key is shown once, when it is made. Keep it on your server; do not put it in a web page or an app, where anyone could read it. Lost keys are revoked and replaced, not recovered.
Test keys start fv_test_ and call the same API for free, with a daily allowance per account (see limits). Make keys in the developer console at https://play.fellowverse.app/developers; every account starts with free test keys. Rolling a key makes its replacement and lets the old key keep working for up to a week, so you can switch over without a gap.
Never ship a Fellowverse API key in browser JavaScript or a mobile app. Use your own backend. See the server relay guide.
