  1. In the console, the account's owner chooses Request live access. We get in touch to set up billing, and turn on live keys for the account.
  2. Make a live key under Keys. A live key takes a code we email you, so a signed-in browser alone cannot make one.
  3. Put the live key on your server in place of the test key. Nothing else changes: the same requests, the same responses.
  4. To replace a key, roll it in the console and give the old one a grace period of up to a week. Both work while you deploy the new one, and the old one then stops.

Every live key made, rolled or revoked is emailed to the account's owners, and the console's Activity shows who did what and when.
